My name is Cynthia and my Interests include International Finance and Economics. I also enjoy writing on a diverse number of issues and will dedicate this “space” to doing just that.
I have one personal adage/philosophy that keeps me “grounded” and here it goes:
“…I may not always be the Quintessence of Focus, but I am clear to make it plain where I want to go…”
(Cynthia, 2005)
That about sums up what I am about, I am not infallible, but I sure know my limits, where I will go and most importantly, where I will not go….This alone has kept me “grounded” and able to “find my way back” when I have ‘strayed’! Ha! It simply mean, I grew up to the realization that, whatever path in life I choose, I need to be able to validate it to myself…..If it makes sense to me, aaahhhhhhh, then I probably will be thinking more about it!

Politics, economics and philosophy. I cannot pin down which one you like best
Well what do you know – Mike found his way here
I think the three ( politics, economics and philosophy) are nicely co-related and intertwined at whatever level – dont you think?
And – I am into all the three equally
Found my way here via a comment you left at Mobius Strip. What caught my attention is that you list TSO as one of your likes. You are the only other person I know of that loves them. Their music is simply superb!
egm – TSO rocks! Last Christmas, they had a Concert here and the friend I was supposed to go for the Concert with bailed out on me last minute – so I went by myself – on a cold, icy Kansas night! Nothing was going to stop me at all!

Hi Cynthia. I really like your blog. It is fresh and you come off as a thinker, a quirky thinker
I stumbled on …HoW I sEe IT… while looking up commodity exchanges. I have had a big interest in coordinating and aggregating commodity trading because in the end it frees up producers to plan and adopt/define best practice.
Being predominantly an agricultural economy, Kenya and the region at large, the side effects to doing commodities right extends value chains across markets and industries ….. as we (region) aspire to be a great nation once again.
That being said, I like your style. keep doing you.
